This happened a couple times when I worked in a restaurant, people calling Champagne Bubblies. I'm wasn't sure if it was an Irish thing or not, so I asked Neko and she didn't know, so maybe. :P

Also Derryl IS saying Goat your Float. I'm aware, it's not a mistake.

Might in fact be an Irish thing, since I don't remember that off the bat, but it rang out in the back of my head when I read it.

No. My extended family will sometimes say bubblies, and they're Canadian. Also, my best friend's family I've heard say bubblies, and they're from Boston. So Canadians and people from New England also say bubblies sometimes. Plus I've heard some British YouTuber's say it, so Brits say it too.

I heard a character on the Looney Tunes Show refer to it as the Bubbly, so it likely is not just an Irish thing.

Unless the Looney tunes are secretly Irish.
