In hindsight, this isn't really relatable to anyone outside of Ireland. But then again, it's relevant to the comic that's based in Ireland.

To those who are unfamiliar with the concept of a TV license, you have to have a license to own a TV. They're 120 euro for an entire year, and everyone hates them.

A TV licence is like throwing money into the wind.

Who needs TV, when you have internet? Also, it would be a bigger loophole if you're able to remove the cable input node and plug your cable box into the hdmi.

Edit: Or just buy a monitor with a matching HD input, and go from there.
